Becrowned horror game announced for multiple consoles in 2027

Top Hat Studios and 13th Street Studio have announced Becrowned, a surreal psychological horror game scheduled for release in Q1 2027. The title will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and the Nintendo Switch 2.

Revealed during the Horror Game Awards, the game features a narrative centered on Richard Torrance, a man whose obsessive pursuit of happiness leads him into a bizarre and disturbing dimension. The aesthetic is described as an eclectic mix, drawing inspiration from 1970s and 1980s grindhouse cinema, 1970s French horror, and Russian cultural and literary influences.

Gameplay involves exploring diverse environments, including a castle, a hospital, and a motel, while navigating a nonlinear storyline where player choices impact the fates of characters within this twisted world.
