Úbeda municipal pools install new hydraulic chair for accessibility

The Úbeda City Council has replaced the water access system at its municipal swimming pool complex with a new hydraulic chair. This equipment is designed to provide better comfort, safety, and autonomy for people with disabilities or reduced mobility.

Sports Councilor Francisco Javier Lozano stated that the upgrade follows suggestions from citizens made through direct channels and social media. The new system is a portable model, allowing it to be moved between the recreational pool and the competition or deep-water pool as needed. Lifeguard services will continue to assist users during the use of the chair to ensure safety.
