Bee attack injures over 30 at Pueblo Nuevo Sports Center

More than 30 people were injured following a bee swarm attack at the Pueblo Nuevo Sports Center in San Cristóbal, Táchira state, on Sunday, September 6. The incident occurred in the afternoon as fans were gathering for a Liga Futve football match between Deportivo Táchira and Rayo Zuliano.

According to Yesnardo Canal, director of Táchira Civil Protection, five ambulances were deployed to provide pre-hospital care. Due to severe allergic reactions, 16 individuals were urgently transported to the San Cristóbal Social Security Hospital. The remaining victims received outpatient medical attention at the scene and are reported to be out of danger. Most of those injured were young people located in the common areas of the complex.
