Beenie Man arrives in Zimbabwe for Kadoma Music Festival

Jamaican dancehall artist Beenie Man has arrived in Zimbabwe to perform at the Kadoma Music Festival. The Grammy Award-winning performer, often referred to as the ‘King of Dancehall’, is expected to bring international attention to the event.

In anticipation of his performance, Beenie Man teased a new project titled ‘Burn It’ via social media. He framed the upcoming release as a message to ‘torch the hate, the division and the barriers between us’, emphasizing themes of unity and the idea that ‘music knows no borders’.

His visit includes references to pan-African solidarity, with the artist noting the trip was inspired by the spirit of ‘Africa Unite’. The festival serves as a platform for both international acts and local Zimbabwean musicians.
