Beenie Man celebrates 53rd birthday as ‘Eminence’ hits No. 1 on US iTunes charts

Dancehall artist Beenie Man, born Moses Anthony Davis, is celebrating his 53rd birthday alongside significant commercial success. His latest album, ‘Eminence’, reached the No. 1 position on both the US iTunes All Genres and Reggae album charts.

The album held the top spot on the All Genres chart for four consecutive days, surpassing releases from artists such as Sam Smith and The Game. Beenie Man marked the occasion with a private cruise around Manhattan and dinner in New York with his fiancée, Camille Lee.

Reflecting on the achievement, Beenie Man described the experience of reaching number one globally as “unexpected and phenomenal.” His career, which began as a child in Kingston, Jamaica, has spanned decades and included major international collaborations and hits like ‘Who Am I’.
