Begüm Fil dies in Sakarya pedestrian crossing accident

A 23-year-old woman, Begüm Fil, has died following a traffic accident in the Adapazarı district of Sakarya. The incident occurred on Orhangazi Street in the Yeşiltepe neighborhood when Fil was attempting to cross the road using a pedestrian crossing.

Fil was struck by a vehicle operated by an individual identified as N. Ü. Although emergency medical teams provided initial assistance at the scene and transported her to a hospital, she succumbed to her injuries early this morning. A judicial investigation has been launched regarding the driver, N. Ü.
