Beheira Governor inspects water and health projects in Al-Hamra

Jacqueline Azer, the Governor of Beheira, conducted field inspections in Al-Hamra village, Wadi El Natrun, to monitor service projects implemented under the presidential ‘Decent Life’ initiative.

During the visit, the Governor inspected the Al-Hamra water desalination plant, which was inaugurated in April. The facility has a daily production capacity of 1,100 cubic meters and utilizes three groundwater wells to provide drinking water to the villages of Al-Bayda and Al-Khadra.

Additionally, the Governor announced the activation of the Al-Hamra health unit. The facility includes 43 rooms, family medicine clinics, dental services, a pharmacy, and various specialized laboratories. The activation was marked by a medical convoy providing free examinations, diagnoses, and medications to local residents. The Governor emphasized that improving water and healthcare infrastructure remains a top priority for the governorate to enhance the quality of life in rural Egypt.
