Behind the Scenes®︎ launches Björk archive photo T-shirt project

Culture label Behind the Scenes®︎ has launched a new collaboration project with British photographer Lorenzo Agius. The project features a series of three T-shirt designs based on Agius’s archival photography of the artist Björk, captured primarily between 1993 and 1996.

The first release, titled “BTS-LA-01”, utilizes a monochrome portrait of Björk that was not originally used in i-D magazine. The design features a large-scale print on the front and a different cut from the same session on the back. To preserve the photographic texture and grain, the garments utilize an ink-infusion printing method on a relaxed-fit body.

Pre-orders for the first item are scheduled to begin on October 1, 2026. The project was inspired by the label's discovery of Agius's work while revisiting archives related to the 30th anniversary of the film ‘Trainspotting’.
