Behobia-San Sebastian race approaches with diverse participants

The Behobia-San Sebastian race, a prominent 20-kilometer event in Spain, is set to take place this Sunday. The race, organized by Club Deportivo Fortuna, features approximately 30,000 participants traveling from Behobia to San Sebastian.

Among the participants is athlete Javi Guerra, who is making his debut in the competition. The Segovia-born runner aims for victory following specific preparation in Pollença, Aranda de Duero, and Valladolid. Guerra, approaching his 43rd birthday, has adapted his training to focus on shorter distances.

Another participant, Jon González, is running the event as a personal tribute to his late friend, Santi, who passed away one year ago. González, a mathematics teacher from Madrid, intends to honor his friend's philosophy of living life intensely despite recent physical setbacks, including a calf injury.
