Behuli film makers pledge flood relief funds at trailer launch

The makers of the Nepali film ‘Behuli’ have released the official trailer during a launch event at Jai Nepal Hall in Kathmandu. The film, directed by Shasan Kandel and starring Divya Rayamajhi and Paras Bam Thakuri, is scheduled for a nationwide theatrical release on September 11.

During the event, producer Arjun Pokharel announced a charitable initiative to support communities affected by the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi region. The production team pledged to donate 5 percent of the producer’s share of total box-office earnings to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund. This announcement follows a temporary suspension of the film’s promotional campaign in respect of the recent natural disaster.

The trailer depicts a narrative involving romance, family dynamics, and conflict. The cast includes Sushant Karki, Padam Tamang, and Santosh Baniya, among others.
