Beigang 1911 Haoku Cultural Industrial Park to open in Yunlin
The Yunlin County Government and Beigang Chaotian Temple held a religious procession featuring the Tangjiao Mazu deity to celebrate the upcoming opening of the Beigang 1911 Haoku Cultural Industrial Park. The procession visited the site of the former Beigang Sugar Factory to pray for a successful launch and to revitalize the historic location through cultural and creative industries.
The Beigang 1911 Haoku Cultural Industrial Park is scheduled to officially open to the public for free on October 23. To mark the opening, the park will host three major exhibitions—‘Shiguang Poying’, ‘Lantern Festival Hometown’, and ‘Yunlin Good(s)’—alongside a Haoku market. The initiative aims to connect the cultural tourism corridor between the Beigang Chaotian Temple and the former sugar factory ruins, blending traditional religious beliefs with modern cultural preservation.
