Beşiktaş accuses Turkish broadcaster of double standards in Vlahović case
Beşiktaş has issued a formal statement accusing the official broadcaster of the Turkish Super League of selective reporting and applying double standards regarding player incidents.
The club claims the broadcaster disproportionately highlighted a single move by Dušan Vlahović during a match against Fenerbahçe, using multiple camera angles to present the incident to the Turkish Football Federation. This coverage resulted in a one-match suspension for the Serbian striker.
In contrast, Beşiktaş alleges that the broadcaster failed to adequately show a massive brawl involving dozens of players following a recent derby between Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe. The club is demanding transparency and the release of all footage, including tunnel and behind-the-goal recordings, to ensure all participants are held accountable.
