Beşiktaş basketball coach Dušan Alimpijević signs contract extension and adds former NBA winger Dakuan Jeffries

Serbian coach Dušan Alimpijević, who joined Turkish club Beşiktaş for the 2023/24 season and led the team to a EuroCup final and a domestic championship, has signed a new contract that will keep him at the club through the 2027/28 season.

Beşiktaş also announced the signing of 28‑year‑old American wing Dakuan Jeffries. Jeffries, who has played for several NBA franchises and excelled in the NBA G‑League, will make his first European appearance with the team as it prepares for its debut season in the EuroLeague.

The moves are aimed at strengthening the roster under Alimpijević’s direction ahead of the upcoming European campaign.
