Beşiktaş Basketball Relocates to Istanbul Arena, Adds Players for EuroLeague

Beşiktaş men's basketball team will move its home games for the 2026/27 season to the newly built Basketbol Gelişim Merkezi in Istanbul’s Zeytinburnu district, leaving the BJK Akatlar Sports Complex. The venue, opened in September 2024, also hosts rival Anadolu Efes, Galatasaray and the Turkish Basketball Federation’s national teams.

The club announced several roster additions ahead of its EuroLeague debut, most notably former BG Göttingen point guard David DeJulius. The 26‑year‑old American averaged 17.8 points and 4.4 assists last season with UCAM Murcia in Spain’s ACB league. Additional signings and contract renewals were also reported as the team prepares for competition in both the Turkish Super League and the EuroLeague.
