Beşiktaş faces fines and bans following Trabzonspor match incidents

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Professional Disciplinary Board has imposed significant sanctions on Beşiktaş following the Trabzonspor-Beşiktaş match held on October 19, 2026. The club was fined a total of 1,060,000 TL due to pitch incidents and ugly/bad chanting. Specifically, 560,000 TL was issued for pitch incidents and 500,000 TL for chanting, which marks the fourth instance of such chanting during Beşiktaş's away matches this season.

In addition to the financial penalties, the board implemented electronic ticket bans for several spectator blocks. Fans in the North Goal Behind Upper Away Stand (North Upper F block) received a two-match ban from Beşiktaş's upcoming away games. Other blocks involved in chanting, including North Upper G1 and G2, also faced electronic ticket blockades.

Separately, the Trabzon Provincial Police Department has launched a judicial investigation into a flare incident during the match. Authorities identified the individual who threw a flare, causing an injury to a spectator, as well as other individuals who lit flares in the stands. Police stated that they will not tolerate violence or disorder in sports areas.
