Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe, and Galatasaray face intense fixture marathon

Following a three-week break for the UEFA Nations League, Turkey's top three football clubs—Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe, and Galatasaray—are entering a demanding period of competition. Between now and the end of the first half of the Süper Lig season on December 21, 2026, these teams will face a dense schedule involving both domestic league matches and European continental competitions.

The upcoming period features several high-stakes derbies, including Galatasaray vs. Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş vs. Galatasaray. The clubs will transition from a weekly match rhythm to a high-intensity schedule, often playing every three to four days.

Beşiktaş will compete in the UEFA Europa League against opponents such as Hoffenheim, Crystal Palace, Celtic, and Bayer Leverkusen. Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray are both engaged in the UEFA Champions League, facing international clubs including Aston Villa, Liverpool, Barcelona, and Stuttgart.
