Serdal Adalı re-elected as Beşiktaş president

Serdal Adalı has been re-elected as the president of Beşiktaş Jimnastik Kulübü during an extraordinary general assembly held at the Sinan Erdem Sports Hall. Running as the sole candidate, Adalı secured 3,815 votes out of 3,910 cast, marking his third term as president. His new mandate is set to last until May 2028.

In his address to the assembly, Adalı emphasized a focus on sporting success and financial independence. He outlined several key economic strategies, including the Dikilitaş project, which is expected to be a major revenue source, and the use of those funds for further real estate investments. He also noted plans to increase stadium capacity to 46,000 by November and highlighted the importance of new sponsorships and broadcasting revenues.

Regarding player management, Adalı stated that the era of paying players to leave the club has ended, asserting that the club will now focus on generating profit from transfers. He also addressed ongoing discussions regarding basketball sponsorships and jersey sponsors, noting that some processes are currently subject to legal and TMSF-related developments. The new board of directors includes members such as Murat Kılıç, Uğur Fora, and Arslan Küçükemre.
