Beşiktaş Nears Loan Deal for Darwin Nunez After Al Hilal Approval

Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal has given its consent for Uruguayan forward Darwin Nunez to join Turkish Süper Lig side Beşiktaş on a season‑long loan. The 27‑year‑old, who signed for Al Hilal from Liverpool in 2025 for €53 million, is under contract with the Saudi team until June 2028 and earns a net €22 million per year.

Negotiations are in the final stages, with Al Hilal’s representative travelling to Istanbul to finalize details. While other Turkish giants have shown interest, Beşiktaş appears closest to completing the agreement, which would see Nunez add firepower to a forward line that already includes Mohamed Salah and Leandro Trossard.
