Beşiktaş negotiates transfer of Matias Siltanen from Djurgården

Beşiktaş is negotiating the transfer of 19-year-old Finnish midfielder Matias Siltanen from Swedish club Djurgården. After failing to secure Benfica's Richard Rios, the Turkish club has turned its attention to Siltanen as a primary target to strengthen its midfield.

Reports indicate that Beşiktaş has proposed a loan deal worth 1 million euros, supplemented by a purchase option valued at 12 million euros. While other European clubs, including Italy's Udinese and France's Toulouse, have shown interest with offers in the 6 million euro range, Beşiktaş's proposal is noted for its significant potential total value.

Djurgården's head coach, Jani Honkavaara, has reportedly expressed openness to the player's departure, stating that the club should do what is necessary for its conditions. Siltanen, whose contract with Djurgården runs until 2027, has acknowledged the ongoing interest but remains open to staying if a move does not materialize.
