Beşiktaş pursues Mohamed Salah as €6 million manager fee stalls deal

Beşiktaş is close to signing Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah, but negotiations have hit a snag over a reported €6 million commission demanded by the player's manager. The club has kept its original financial package unchanged and awaits the manager’s final response before the transfer can be completed.

At the same time, the Turkish side has added 23‑year‑old Colombian midfielder Gustavo Puerta to its transfer list. Puerta, who plays for Racing de Santander in Spain, is valued at about €18 million with a €20 million release clause. Several European clubs are monitoring him, and Bayer Leverkusen will retain a 50 percent share of any future sale.

Both moves are part of Beşiktaş’s broader effort to strengthen its squad ahead of the upcoming season.
