Beşiktaş rejects Rangers offer for Vaclav Cerny
Beşiktaş has rejected an official transfer offer from Rangers for Czech winger Vaclav Cerny. Despite reports in the Scottish media suggesting the player was interested in returning to Glasgow, sources close to Cerny have dismissed these claims.
Cerny, who previously had a successful loan spell at Rangers during the 2024-25 season, has reportedly communicated to Beşiktaş officials that he has no desire to leave the club. He is currently under contract with the Turkish side until 2029.
Beşiktaş head coach Vincenzo Italiano considers Cerny a vital component of his tactical plans. The winger has started all five of the club's competitive fixtures in the current season, contributing two goals and an assist.
