Beşiktaş signs American guard David DeJulius for EuroLeague return
American point guard David DeJulius, 1.83 m tall and 27 years old, has agreed to a contract with Turkish club Beşiktaş, which is re‑entering the EuroLeague. The deal, announced on 1 August 2026, runs until 2030 and is intended to strengthen Beşiktaş’s guard rotation for the upcoming season.
DeJulius spent the 2025‑26 campaign with UCAM Murcia in Spain’s Liga ACB, averaging 17.7 points per game and finishing as the league’s second‑leading scorer. He was also selected for the All‑League First Team. Earlier in his career he played college basketball at Michigan and Cincinnati, turned professional in 2023 with Lavrio in Greece, and has had stints with Aris, Maccabi Tel Aviv and other European clubs.
Beşiktaş highlighted DeJulius’s scoring ability and versatility as key assets for competing at the highest European level, describing him as a “productive scorer” who can contribute immediately to the team’s EuroLeague ambitions.
