Beşiktaş signs defender Ümit Akdağ from Alanyaspor

Beşiktaş has officially signed 22-year-old defender Ümit Akdağ from Alanyaspor in a deal worth approximately 8 million euros. The contract is set for four seasons, strengthening the defense under manager Vincenzo Italiano.

Akdağ, who was born in Bucharest to Turkish parents, has a diverse football background including stints at Chelsea's academy and Toulouse. Despite having played for Romania's U21 national team, he has expressed a strong desire to represent the Turkish national team.
