Beşiktaş targets Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus

Beşiktaş has reportedly made initial contact with Arsenal regarding the transfer of Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus. Following the recent permanent signing of Leandro Trossard, the Turkish club is looking to secure a second high-profile player from the London-based side.

Arsenal is understood to be seeking a permanent sale rather than a loan for the 29-year-old forward, who has one year remaining on his contract. The Premier League club is reportedly asking for a transfer fee of approximately £20 million. While Jesus remains in first-team contention, he has seen reduced playing time behind teammates such as Kai Havertz.

Jesus joined Arsenal from Manchester City in 2022. During his tenure in London, he has made 123 appearances and scored 32 goals. Other clubs, including Napoli, have also been linked to the striker.
