Beja sees business expansion with SIXT and Action arrivals

The city of Beja in the Alentejo region is seeing increased commercial activity with the arrival of two international brands.

SIXT Portugal has opened a new station in Beja to expand its mobility services in the region. The company aims to support local businesses, residents, and tourists by providing a diverse fleet of vehicles for work, personal travel, and long-term stays. Branch Manager Luís Raposo noted that the expansion responds to the growing economic dynamism of the district.

Additionally, the discount retailer Action has opened its first store in Beja. Located on Estrada das Apolinárias, the 848-square-meter space employs 20 people. The store offers approximately 6,000 products across 14 categories, including home decor, cleaning supplies, and personal care, with an average product price below €2. This marks Action's 31st location in Portugal.
