Beja to host Palavras Andarilhas storytelling festival

The 18th edition of the Palavras Andarilhas festival is scheduled to take place from August 28 to 30 at the Jardim Público in Beja. The event focuses on the theme ‘The traditional tale: memory and tradition’ and features a program of storytelling activities.

As a precursor to the main festival, a narrated dinner will be held on August 27 at 20:00 at the Biblioteca Municipal José Saramago. The session will feature storytellers Cristina Taquelim, Jorge Serafim, and Luzia do Rosário. Participation in the dinner requires prior in-person registration at the Beja Library.
