Bekasi Mayor installs new Karang Taruna leadership

The Bekasi City Government has officially inaugurated the new Karang Taruna leadership for the 2026–2031 period. The ceremony, held at Plaza Patriot Candrabhaga, was led by Bekasi Mayor Tri Adhianto and attended by regional officials, including DPRD Chairman Sardi Effendi and West Java Karang Taruna Chairman Ahmad Taurik.

Mayor Tri Adhianto emphasized the organization's role as a strategic partner for the government in accelerating social welfare and regional development. He announced that the Dana Lingkar Keren program budget will increase from 100 million to 150 million by 2028 to support youth contributions in the region.

The newly appointed Chairman, Darkam Suryadi, introduced a new slogan for the organization: “Bersatu, Bergerak, dan Berdampak” (United, Moving, and Impactful). He stated that the leadership aims to help the government address various social issues through unity and tangible community action.
