Bekasi Regency targets Rp70 trillion in investment by 2026
The Bekasi Regency Government has set an investment target of Rp70 trillion for 2026 to stimulate regional economic growth. Acting Regent Asep Surya Atmaja noted that current investment levels have reached Rp50 trillion.
Atmaja emphasized that the target is realistic given Bekasi's status as one of Southeast Asia's largest industrial hubs, hosting approximately 9,100 major companies and up to 58,000 smaller entities based on business identification numbers. To sustain this growth, the local government aims to maintain a secure and conducive environment for business and foster healthy industrial relations by treating workers as strategic partners in economic development.
