Bela Bartha signs with Asseco Resovia Rzeszów for 2026/27 season

Romanian middle blocker Bela Bartha, 25, has joined Polish volleyball club Asseco Resovia Rzeszów for the 2026/27 Tauron Liga campaign. Bartha comes from Italy, where he spent two seasons with Itas Trentino, winning the Italian championship in 2025 and a silver medal at the 2024 Club World Championships. He also helped Romania win silver at the 2022 Silver European League.

Resovia president Piotr Maciąg praised Bartha’s block, attack efficiency and teamwork, saying the player will strengthen the squad. The club has already added several other signings and will begin the season on 17 October, opening away against Częstochowa. Bartha will also feature for the Romanian national team at the upcoming European Championships.
