Belarus and Nicaragua sign agreements for health and construction equipment

Belarus and Nicaragua have strengthened bilateral cooperation through new agreements focused on health and construction equipment. A Nicaraguan delegation, led by Minister-Advisor Laureano Ortega Murillo, met with the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus to expand existing trade models.

Under the new agreements, Nicaragua will acquire nearly 300 ambulances to bolster national healthcare capabilities. Additionally, the cooperation includes the supply of construction equipment intended for use by local municipalities.

Belarusian officials noted that over 1,000 units of Belarusian equipment are currently utilized across various Nicaraguan sectors, including agriculture and construction. The Development Bank of Belarus has served as a financial backbone for these exports, facilitating a model of interaction that both nations aim to expand to increase trade turnover.
