Belas Artes Group announces re-release of four cinematic classics

The Belas Artes Group has announced a series of theatrical re-releases for four foundational cinematic works. The program, organized by the Belas Artes À La Carte streaming platform, will feature screenings at Cine Belas Artes in São Paulo and Cinesystem Belas Artes Botafogo in Rio de Janeiro.

The selection begins on October 1, 2026, with Akira Kurosawa’s 1985 epic ‘Ran’, a visual adaptation of Shakespeare’s ‘King Lear’. Following this, the schedule includes Jean-Luc Godard’s ‘Breathless’ (À bout de souffle) in January 2027, Alain Resnais’ ‘Last Year at Marienbad’ (L'Année dernière à Marienbad) in February 2027, and Francis Ford Coppola’s ‘The Outsiders’ in March 2027.

In addition to theatrical screenings, these films will be made available through the Belas Artes À La Carte streaming catalog.
