Belavia launches scheduled flights between Minsk and Thailand
Belavia Belarusian Airlines has commenced its first scheduled non-stop service from Minsk to Bangkok, marking a transition from previous charter operations to regular weekly flights. The inaugural flight arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport on 26 October 2026.
Following the Bangkok service, the airline is set to launch twice-weekly flights from Minsk to Phuket starting 29 October. Both routes will utilize Airbus A330-200 aircraft. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) noted that these scheduled services provide more structure for travelers and tour operators compared to seasonal charters.
The expansion aligns with TAT’s strategy to target Eastern Europe as a priority market for long-haul travel, aiming to attract visitors interested in cultural, wellness, and nature-based experiences during the winter season.
