Belcastro worker seriously injured in scaffold fall

A worker was seriously injured after falling from a scaffold in the Magliacane district of Belcastro, Catanzaro. The accident occurred while the individual was performing duties at a construction site.

Emergency responders from the 118 service arrived at the scene and stabilized the worker. Due to the severity of the injuries, the individual was transported via air ambulance to a hospital in Catanzaro, where they remain in critical condition.

The Carabinieri of the Sellia Marina Company and the Fire Department have attended the site to conduct investigations. Authorities are working to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the fall and to verify whether workplace safety regulations were being strictly followed.
