BelgeNet digital system saves 35,000 trees in Turkey

TÜRKSAT AŞ has developed BelgeNet, an electronic document management system designed to accelerate bureaucratic processes and reduce paper waste within public and private institutions. Currently, 120 organizations, including the Presidency, utilize the platform.

The system has digitized over 1 billion official documents, resulting in the preservation of more than 35,000 trees and a saving of over 600 tons of paper. Additionally, expenses related to printers and toner have decreased by 60%.

BelgeNet features mobile application and remote access technologies, allowing managers to review and securely sign documents via mobile devices regardless of their location. This digital transition has significantly reduced the time required for official approvals and document processing.
