Belgian and Dutch clubs target key football transfers

Belgian clubs are active in the summer market. Arsenal and Besiktas have agreed on a €20 million fee for Leandro Trossard, pending the player's approval. Anderlecht is linked to Romelu Lukaku’s potential free exit from Napoli and has shown interest in Nathan Ngoumou despite his recent Achilles injury. Anderlecht also monitors Charles De Ketelaere, while Club Brugge reached a deal with FC Barcelona for 18‑year‑old Jesse Bisiwu. Borussia Dortmund placed a record bid for Genk’s 18‑year‑old Kos Karetsas, who is valued at €35 million.

In the Netherlands, Ajax is pursuing Brazilian striker Leonardo, reportedly ready to pay around €25 million for a contract until 2031; the club previously attempted to sign him in 2021. Ajax also saw Sean Steur leave for Newcastle United for a fee of up to €27 million, prompting mixed reactions from Dutch football figures.
