Belgian footballers Viggo Martens and Kevin Van Den Kerkhof extend contracts

Several Belgian football players have secured contract extensions. Viggo Martens, a former KAA Gent youth player, has extended his contract with Cercle Brugge until June 2029. After joining the club in the summer of 2024 and performing strongly with the reserve team, Martens has begun receiving opportunities with the first team.

Additionally, Sporting Charleroi has announced that Kevin Van Den Kerkhof has extended his contract until June 2029. The 30-year-old right-back, who joined the club from FC Metz, has become a key figure in the squad, contributing goals and assists during the early stages of the current season.
