Belgian metal bands perform at Alcatraz in Kortrijk

Belgian metal bands Poseydon and Turpentine Valley recently performed at the Alcatraz venue in Kortrijk.

Poseydon, a trash and death metal group from Beveren, discussed their performance and musical influences, noting the band's long-standing passion for the genre.

Instrumental post-metal band Turpentine Valley, signed to Dunk! Records, reflected on the reception of their third album, ‘Veuel’. The band noted that while their previous album was recorded remotely during the pandemic, the creation of ‘Veuel’ involved a more structured writing process despite tight deadlines. They have decided to pause live performances in 2025 to focus on completing their upcoming musical projects.
