Belgian Military Logistics MoU Signed by Daimler Truck, Soframe, Lambert Defence

Daimler Truck AG, French defence specialist Soframe and Belgian firm Lambert Defence have signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate on the Belgian Ministry of Defence’s Tactical Logistic Trucks Programme (TLTP). The partnership will combine Daimler’s proven military vehicle platforms and large‑scale production capacity, Soframe’s expertise in ballistic and mine‑protected cab designs, and Lambert Defence’s local integration and lifecycle support capabilities.

The aim is to modernise and expand the Belgian armed forces’ logistics vehicle fleet with advanced tactical transport solutions while maximising Belgian industrial participation. Final vehicle assembly, protected‑cab production and support activities are planned to be carried out in Belgium, generating skilled jobs, technology transfer and greater logistical autonomy for the defence force.
