Belgian singer Angèle cancels appearances due to illness

Belgian singer Angèle has been forced to cancel several high-profile appearances following the release of her new album, Instinct, on October 16. The artist, who is working with Sony as her new distributor, missed the NRJ Music Awards where she was nominated for best Francophone female artist and best Francophone collaboration.

In addition to missing the awards ceremony, Angèle cancelled the inauguration of her pop-up store at Printemps Haussmann in Paris and a scheduled meeting with the Belgian radio station Radio Contact.

Through social media, the singer confirmed she has been unwell, sharing photos of herself using a nebulizer. She expressed her disappointment regarding the missed events but indicated she is beginning to recover and intends to return to her activities soon.
