Belgioioso: Man ordered to wear electronic bracelet following abuse allegations

In Belgioioso, a 44-year-old man has been issued a restraining order and required to wear an electronic bracelet following allegations of abuse and persecution against his former partner.

The investigation was initiated after a 39-year-old woman reported a series of violent incidents. According to authorities, the violence culminated on June 26, when the man allegedly assaulted the woman, resulting in her being hospitalized with a 15-day medical prognosis.

Following the end of their relationship, the man reportedly continued to engage in stalking behavior. Based on the evidence collected by the Carabinieri, the Court of Pavia, at the request of the local Public Prosecutor's Office, ordered the restraining order to protect the victim.
