Youth Movement Day celebrated across Flanders and Brussels

On October 23, 2026, various youth organizations in Belgium will celebrate 'Dag van de Jeugdbeweging' (Youth Movement Day). The event is organized by Chiro, FOS Open Scouting, Kamino, KLJ, and Scouts en Gidsen Vlaanderen to showcase the value of youth movements and encourage new memberships.

Activities include hundreds of events spread throughout Flanders and Brussels. In Leuven, participants wearing their youth movement uniforms are invited to Bruulpark for a free breakfast between 7:00 and 8:00. The day aims to foster solidarity across different organizations while thanking members, leaders, and volunteers for their engagement through games and festivities.
