Belgium hosts free summer concerts across July and August
Zomerse Donderdagen turns a church square into an open‑air stage each Thursday from mid‑July to early August, offering free concerts with a line‑up that includes The Philips, Longarius Waltus, Dizzy Fingers, The Backseat Boppers and De Kemels, covering pop, rock, country and Dutch‑language sing‑along hits.
In Ghent, the annual Côté Jardin festival at De Bijloke combines indoor and tented venues for free classical, jazz and flamenco performances, children's activities and inter‑generational projects. Ensembles such as the Boho Strings with accordion soloist Gwen Cresens, as well as other local musicians, present a mix of repertoire from Bach to contemporary premieres.
