The eighth edition of the Kleurrijk Kunstenfestival will be held on Saturday 22 August 2026 in Gent. The event transforms the Titannick site on Kikvorsstraat 40 into a free circus‑festival meadow, featuring performances by the Kleurrijke Kunstenaars, a cabaret showcase, and an acrobatic show by Yldor Llach. The festival is directed and presented by Ian Ghysels (known as the WensMens) and is a collaboration between Circusplaneet, Titannick, Wallin’ and the WensMens, with support from Thuispunt Gent, Cultuur Gent, Stad Gent and Vlaanderen.

Meanwhile, the Brussels Dance Festival runs throughout mid‑August, offering free dance workshops and performances across the city centre. Activities include a salsa workshop on Friday 14 August at De Brouckèreplein, an opening show on the Beursplein and an after‑party on the rooftop bar of the Beurs. Venues span De Brouckèreplein, Beursplein, Muntplein, the Stadhuis, KBR, Bozar, Cinema Palace and the Royal Museums of Fine Arts. Schepen of Culture and Major Events Nawal Ben Hamou says the programme supports Brussels’ ambition to become the European capital of dance by 2030. The festival is organised by Brussels Major Events, the city’s events pool.
