Belgorod region: Six killed in Ukrainian missile strike

Six civilians were killed and four others, including a 14-year-old child, were injured during a Ukrainian missile strike on the village of Koloskovo in Russia's Belgorod region, according to acting Governor Alexander Shuvaev.

The attack in the Valuysky district caused a structure to burn and damaged a vehicle. This incident occurred amid an escalation of long-range strikes, including a large-scale overnight Ukrainian drone raid where the Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defenses intercepted 205 UAVs across several regions.

Recent data highlights an increase in civilian casualties on both sides of the conflict. According to United Nations tallies, 437 civilians were killed in Ukraine in July, while Russian authorities reported 79 civilian deaths on their territory during the same month.
