Belgrade and Sukošan start mosquito control campaigns in July
The Belgrade municipal service JKP "Gradska čistoća" will carry out adult mosquito suppression on Monday, 13 July, from 19:00 to 23:00 across dozens of public areas, including riverbanks, parks and residential zones. Treatment will use registered biocidal products applied by thermal and cold fogging, contingent on dry weather. Residents are asked to eliminate standing water, install physical barriers and avoid interfering with crews.
In the Croatian municipality of Sukošan, a mandatory larvicidal disinfection operation is scheduled for 14‑16 July. Workers from Pecto d.o.o. will place larvicidal tablets in stagnant water to prevent mosquito larvae development. The municipality urges homeowners to remove or seal containers that hold water and to supervise children during the campaign. Contact details for inquiries are provided by both authorities.
