Belgrade filming begins for cult series sequel ‘Priče iz radionice 2’

Filming has commenced in Belgrade for the television series ‘Priče iz radionice 2’, a sequel to the cult classic ‘Majstorska radionica’ released over forty years ago. The new production, consisting of 24 episodes, follows the Govedarević family as they navigate modern business and personal challenges while maintaining an auto-mechanic tradition.

Nenad Jezdić stars as the successor to the legendary character Života, originally portrayed by Zoran Radmilović, with Strahinja Mitić playing his son. The production features a cast including Nataša Marković, Predrag Vasić, Dušan Kovačević, Milica Tomašević, and Una Lučić.

Producer Lazar Ristovski has notably engaged his former wife, Danica Ristovski, for the project. The series aims to modernize the original format while respecting its heritage, adapting the characters and situations to a contemporary sensibility.
