Belgrade hosts summer cultural festivals at Silosi and Zemun

Belgrade is hosting several major summer cultural events. The Silosi complex will host the fifth annual “Pod sjajem zvezda” (Under the Starlight) event on August 22 and 23. Organized by the non-profit Gaia pokret, the festival expects over ten thousand visitors and features a summer bazaar with over 40 local exhibitors, music ranging from traditional tamburaši to DJs, an open-air cinema, and exhibitions, including a photographic retrospective by Branislav Brajan Rašić.

Simultaneously, Zemun Fest has officially commenced at Veliki Trg. The five-day festival includes a film program featuring student and short films, as well as open-air cinema screenings. The musical lineup at the river quay features various artists such as Baby Lasagna, Edo Maajka, and Regina. Family-oriented activities, including workshops and children's performances, are being held in Zemun Park, with much of the programming remaining free to the public.
