Belgrade Jazz Festival announces international performers

The 42nd Belgrade Jazz Festival features a diverse lineup of international performers scheduled for October 22 at Dom Omladine Beograda.

Swiss vocalist Andreas Scherer and Spanish pianist Daniel García Diego will perform as a duo. Their set combines jazz, classical music, and flamenco, utilizing Scherer’s unique vocal techniques including beatboxing, scat singing, and operatic koloratura to create a spontaneous musical dialogue with the piano.

Italian saxophonist and composer Tino Trakana will perform with his octet. Trakana, an award-winning musician known for his work with the Paolo Fresu quintet, will present original compositions by himself and pianist Massimiliano Milesi. His repertoire explores various musical worlds, ranging from traditional jazz to early music.
