Fatal traffic accidents reported in Croatia, Slovenia, and Serbia

Several fatal traffic accidents have been reported across the region. In Croatia, 20-year-old footballer Stjepan Mesić died on the A3 highway near Donji Andrijevci after losing control of his vehicle, leaving the lane, and striking a guardrail. Authorities noted he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

In Slovenia, a 26-year-old man died and a 20-year-old woman was seriously injured after falling from a bridge over the Kokro River. Local residents have reportedly warned authorities about inadequate safety barriers at the site for some time.

In Serbia, a 33-year-old motorcyclist died in Belgrade after being struck by a vehicle driven by a 19-year-old. The driver, an Afghan national, has been charged with serious offenses against public traffic safety. Additionally, a 42-year-old motorcyclist, Slavko Keč, died in Drljanovac, Croatia, after losing control of his motorcycle during a turn.
