Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport serves over one million passengers in July

Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport served more than one million passengers in July, marking a 6.2 percent increase compared to the same month last year. This achievement represents the first time this year the airport has surpassed the million-passenger threshold in a single month.

On July 31, the airport recorded a single-day passenger record of 40,584 travelers and a record 378 flights. The growth in traffic is attributed to increased flight offerings from carriers such as Air Serbia, Wizz Air, and Air Montenegro.

During the current summer season, Belgrade has been connected to a record 118 destinations worldwide, including five intercontinental lines. Belgrade Airport, operated by VINCI Airports, has announced plans to continue infrastructure investments as part of a 730 million euro investment cycle under its concession agreement.
